ECSE J and K!

Hello!   For “J” week we made Jaguars and Jelly Fish.  We learned how to do Jumping Jacks, jump over a jump rope, and pretended to be a Jack-in-the-box.  We jumped on the mini-tramp and on all the shapes.  It was a great week.  We then moved on to “K” week.  During “K” week we made kites, spaghetti K’s, and wrote k’s.  We colored a kitten and a kangaroo.  We watched a video on k words.  Kitchen, Koala, Kitten, and Kangaroo were  all featured in it.

This week we will be reviewing the letters A through K.

Have a GREAT week!

I week for ECSE

First of all, I would like to thank the wonderful parents for their help with the Fall/Harvest parties.  They were FAB and so much fun!

For the week of “I” we climbed in and out of boxes, wrote with ink, made ice cream cone pictures, and drew “I” s on white boards.  We also made inchworms.  We learned what igloos were and iguanas too.    Our names became part of the sentence “I am ______”.   It has been a super busy week and now we move to “J”!  Have a great weekend.

Enjoy the pictures of our parties,

Miss Cindy

ECSE G and H

HI!

For week “G” we made giraffes, ghosts, and clusters of grapes.  We had a puppet show with our ghosts, wrote “G”’s on the white boards and SMART board, and galluped through the room.  “H” week found us carving pumpkins for Halloween, cutting and making the letter “H”, and hopping on our shapes.  We also worked with Hula Hoops, cut out and decorated hearts, and found out where our hearts are in our human bodies.   We sang “Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes”, and “If You’re Happy and You Know It”.    We even made our own Happy Faces.  It was great!

Parents, please remember parent/teacher conferences this week.  Book orders are also due this week on Thursday!   Have a great week.

Thanks,

Miss Cindy
